Welcome To Corbin Locks

September 24th, 2009

Hello and welcome to my corbin locks website.

If you’re looking for the best deals and discounts on corbin locks then you’ve come to the right place.

Once upon a time I was sick of our old door locks and wanted a little bit more fashionable and secure lock. I decided later that year that corbin locks was the way to go.

I don’t know about you, but having a nice/secure lock is difficult to find. It’s a purchase that I would only make every five years, but it is an important decision.

Long story short I have been using corbin locks for years now and continue to use on our primary residence and other properties.

There are plenty of corbin locks out there, but how do you decide?

Well I’ve recommended the top corbin locks just below here, so have a look and see what you think!

OK .. wishing you a secure home with the best locks..

Walter.

History Of Corbin Locks

September 22nd, 2009

Corbin Russwin Locks traces its history to 1839, when Henry Russell and Cornelius Erwin began manufacturing plate locks. In 1902, their company merged with P. and F. Corbin, originally founded in 1849 by Philip and Frank Corbin and Ed Doen, to form The American Hardware Corporation.

After a series of acquisitions, in 1964 American Hardware was acquired by the Emhart Corporation. Later, Black and Decker purchased the company and combined the Corbin and Russwin brands to form Corbin Russwin. Corbin Russwin has its manufacturing facility in Berlin, Connecticut.

Corbin Russwin is one of twelve brands represented by ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions, a North American operating unit of ASSA ABLOY.
